Vạn Thủy Tú is a temple located on Ngư Ông Street, Đức Thắng Ward, Phan Thiết City, Bình Thuận Province. This is a place of worship for the Nam Hải deity, also known as Cá Ông, according to the beliefs of the local fishermen. Temples are often built right by the coast of fishing villages. This temple was constructed by the fishermen of Thủy Tú village in the year Nhâm Ngọ 1762 to honor Cá Ông (whales), with the main hall, the Tiền Hiền worship house, and the Võ Ca arranged in a “Tam” shape, facing east. When it was first built, the temple’s entrance was right by the sea, but today the coastline has moved more than 100 meters away. The Thủy Tú village temple is one of the oldest temples related to the fishing profession in Bình Thuận.
